The deadline for entering the 2026 MJA Awards is looming so don’t miss your chance to win £500 and a much coveted trophy.
There will be no extensions this year, so if you’ve been putting it off, today is the day.
The deadline is 23:59 on Wednesday 10th June. There are a host of categories to enter – across news and features, podcasts, mental health, sexual health, and science explained – and you can go for as many as you wish as long as you only submit the same piece of work once.
Why enter?
The MJA Awards are widely recognised as the leading accolade for health and science journalism in the UK.
Winners are chosen by 48 expert judges drawn from across the NHS and health journalism community.
Thanks to principal sponsors Novartis, there will also be an Outstanding Contribution award worth £1,000 selected from the very best of this year’s winners.
Entry is open to all, and free for MJA members. Head to the awards entry page to find out more about the criteria and rules for submitting your best work.
