Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Medical Journalists’ Association will be held virtually at 7.00pm on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
This is an important opportunity for all our members to join a meeting to hear an annual report on the MJA work by chair Shaun Lintern, as well as an in-depth report of the MJA’s full accounts and finances. It is also the chance to confirm election of the executive committee and to consider any motions or vote that members wish to put forward. Any full member can put themselves forward to join the EC, anyone who wishes to stand for election to the committee should inform the administrator four weeks before the meeting for a vote to take place on the night.
Chair Shaun Lintern said: “For most of the year the MJA executive committee gets on with the work of running the MJA, organising our events and awards. The AGM is a chance for members to question myself and other members of the committee to ensure we are doing what you as members want. I hope as many of you attend as possible.”

Full members wishing to submit a motion for debate at the AGM must notify the administrator no later than four weeks before the meeting. Motions received after this deadline cannot be included in the agenda.
