Fingers crossed, the Quiz is back. We are currently in discussions with Edelman, one of our awards sponsors, to use their function space for an MJA Quiz. We’ll share more details as soon as everything is finalised, but in the meantime, please hold the date — October 30 — and start thinking about organising your team.
Cheers to Christmas
Christmas is also hurtling towards us, and we are planning to return to the Morpheth Arms for casual Christmas drinks on December 5 — again, we’ll post more details as soon as everything is pinned down, but we envisage a similar event to last year.
There will be a small charge for both events to cover costs.
Breaking news webinar
Shaun is also in talks about a webinar with a news announcement around gene testing — provisionally scheduled for 10:30am on Mon October 14 — it’s not the story covered today, but something we hope members will find equally newsworthy. The briefing will also generate much-needed income for the MJA, so please keep an eye out for updates and sign-up when we share RSVP details.
