Adele Waters has enjoyed a successful 25+ career writing for a range of titles and publishers spanning both specialist and consumer media, and picking up array of awards along the way.She writes widely, covering subjects from new treatments and innovations to medical politics and more, and in many forms (news and features, profiles and in-depth investigations/analyses. Plus white papers, reports and video scripts).During the course of her media career, she has held a range of editorial roles, from reporter and specialist editor, to editor and editorial director. In addition, she has contributed to most of our daily and weekend papers as a freelance writer. Before training to become a journalist she trained as a nurse.She currently splits her working time writing for BMJ Publishing (part-time) and working on freelance projects. In addition to journalism, she works on an editorial consultancy basis too, providing editorial strategic advice, and has a particular expertise in delivering commercial editorial content. She has a regular slot as a copywriter for an advertising agency.
