The 2022 MJA Awards are now open to entry.
In 2022 we have 15 awards available including a new award: The Gordon McVie Award for reporting cancer research. View full details of the awards available, the rules and regulations and enter. Entry is free for MJA members and costs £60 per category for non members, so why not join for £50 and enter as many categories as you like for free?
We had so much positive feedback on the decision to move last year’s MJA Awards to September that we are making this permanent.
The timetable for the 2022 MJA Awards is:
Entries open: May 1.
Entries close: May 31.
Publication dates for eligibility: Work first published or broadcast on or between Saturday February 12, 2021 and Saturday 30 April, 2022 will be eligible for entry. This slightly longer timescale covers the period from the cut off for last year’s awards (February 11, 2021) until the opening date of this year’s awards.
Finalists announced: Details of all the finalists, and where possible links to their work, will be published on the MJA website in August 2022.
Awards Ceremony: Thursday September 15, 2022. Barber-Surgeons’ Hall, London EC2Y 5BL
