The MJA AGM will take place via Zoom on January 21, 2025 from 19:00-20:00.

The quorum is 20 full/honorary members (or retired members who were formally full members) and we hope that by running the AGM on Zoom this will enable participation from all our members, not just those based in or near London.
The AGM is held in order to receive the annual report of the Chair and the annual statement of accounts, to confirm the election of the Executive Committee, and to conduct any other duly notified business.

Tuesday December 24, 2024
Motions for debate at the Annual General Meeting must be notified to the Administrator (at least four weeks prior to the AGM).
Proposed changes to the Constitution must have the endorsement of 14 Full members of the Association and be notified to the Executive Committee at least four weeks before the AGM. NB: The Constitution of the Association may be amended, altered or repealed only by a two-thirds majority of those Full Members who are present at an AGM.
Nominations for membership of the Executive Committee by Full Members must be received by the Administrator (at least four weeks prior to the AGM) NB: The Chair shall have the power to nominate retiring members of the Executive Committee if it appears that insufficient nominations have been received. In that case, a ballot shall not be necessary. The Officers are then appointed by the EC.
