Dr Sian Williams hosted the 2024 MJA Awards
As we’ve had some inquiries from early birds asking when the 2025 MJA Awards open for entry, we thought it would be helpful to share our provisional timeline.
Our plan is to open the awards for entry on May 1, with entries closing at a minute past midnight on May 30, i.e 00:01 on June 1. Checks and judging will take place in June and July, with finalists likely to be announced in the week beginning August 11.
The awards are likely to take place on a weekday evening in the middle of September and we are currently in talks with News UK about holding the ceremony in their fabulous 17th floor event space.
We are currently in talks with existing sponsors, with agreements already signed by Roche and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. And we will shortly be announcing a new sponsor for our Freelance of the Year. Keep an eye on the website for updates.
