Prizes for Pulse: Lawrence presents the prizes to last year’s Quiz winners
Get the date in your diary — Friday, December 9 — and start putting together a team for the fourth fabulous MJA Christmas Quiz.
Will Pulse, who were last year’s victors, miss a beat? Or will the Pharmaceutical Journal pip them to the post this time? Will the BMJ team turn up trumps? Or will an eclectic band of freelance egg-heads finish in first place?
These questions — and hopefully many more — will all be answered on December 9. And whatever the outcome the MJA Quiz is guaranteed to be a cracking start to the Christmas season.
Once again we are returning to the Great Hall of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, with its wonderful oak panels and gem-like stained glass windows. And once again we would like to thank NHS Employers for their support in sponsoring this event. NHS Employers is the body that keeps workforce leaders, HR practitioners and frontline NHS managers up to date with the latest workforce thinking and expert opinion.
The evening will begin with a champagne reception at 6.30pm and include a substantial canapé and bowl supper, along with wine, beer and soft drinks.
Places are limited, so to be sure you don’t miss out, start planning your team, or linking up with other members via comments below. Teams need to be named after a London Underground Station (excluding Mornington Crescent).
There is a limit of six people per team. If you’re putting together a team, feel free to thrown down the gauntlet with a post via comments below — and if you are looking to join a team, please also use comments to team up with other members. (The RSVP form doesn’t display names on this post).
The Quiz is free for members, tickets for guests/non-members are £20 each. Non-members who are eligible for membership, can join the MJA for the special rate of £15 (membership will run until our annual membership renewal, February 2017) and then attend the event for free. You will need to complete our membership application form and pay but you can of course RSVP below in the meantime to secure your place.
Please RSVP using the form below. You can RSVP before knowing who all your teammates will be or what team you are on, as this will then reserve your place. If you are a registering as a guest/non member we will contact you regarding payment.
