Winter bugs and bad weather forced some last minute cancellations, but that didn’t deter a small though perfectly formed, group of members and guests getting together for Christmas drinks.
And there was much to celebrate, with the incredible turn-around in MJA finances – in large part due to the efforts of our tireless chair, Shaun Lintern — a number of sponsors already confirmed for the 2025 awards, and plans for the 2025 Symposium already well underway.
We’d also like to hear what you, our members, would like to see in terms of upcoming events and activities.

Our 2024 AGM will be held via Zoom on January 21, 2025. This allows the us to provide members with an up-to-date overview of our current financial situation, rather than the usual practice of reporting only on the previous year — so this year’s meeting will include finalised accounts for the year ended 2023 and a detailed but not-yet-signed-off accounts covering 2024.
