By February 6, 2018Archive

Dear MJA members,

On behalf of Celgene, I would like to invite you to attend a journalist education event titled ‘Demystifying blood cancer: A focus on multiple myeloma’.

The event will take place at 18:30 – 20:30 on Wednesday 21st February 2018 at the Robert Adam Room in Chandos House, 2 Queen Anne St, Marylebone, London W1G 9LQ.

Join us to hear a leading clinical expert, patient and patient group discuss advances in blood cancer; the burden of multiple myeloma on patients; and current disparities in access to medicines across the UK. You will also have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions during a panel discussion following the presentations.

We hope that this event will provide you with a succinct overview of this complex disease area, and will clarify any areas of confusion you may have to support the ongoing development of your knowledge.

The speakers include:

· Dr Fenella Willis, Consultant Haematologist at St George’s Hospital, London

· Rosemary Finley, Chief Executive of Myeloma UK

· A myeloma patient

This meeting is organised and funded by Celgene UK. Places are limited so please RSVP by responding to by Friday 9th February 2018.

We very much hope this is of interest and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Natasha
