MJA lunch and learn: How to be interviewed

By May 26, 2021Public

The MJA’s sixth lunch and learn session takes place on Wednesday June 23, 2021. 12:30 – 13:30 on Zoom.

We are all used to interviewing people. But what happens when the tables are turned and you’re the interviewee? You’ve written a great story and the Today Programme ask you for an interview over the phone at 07 15. What do you do to appear knowledgeable, authoritative, yet friendly and convincing? This lunch and learn will help you out. Our Chair, Lawrence McGinty, will be giving you tips gathered from over thirty years of interviewing for ITV News and Channel 4 News. And he will be putting them into practice as he interviews, live, a volunteer victim.

You can view recordings of all our previous lunch and learns in our webinar section.
